Meet Dr. Freher
Dr. Mark Freher has served the South Florida community as an electrophysiologist since 2003. He completed his electrophysiology training at Northwestern University in Chicago. He joined The Arrhythmia Center of South Florida in 2019.
Dr. Freher was the first physician in South Florida to implant the Innovative AVEIR™ DR Dual Chamber Leadless Pacemaker. To learn more about this procedure, click here.
Dr. Freher is a pioneer in the field of left atrial appendage occlusion in South Florida. He has performed a significant amount of these procedures since 2015. Dr. Freher has a special interest in lead extraction, left atrial appendage closure for prevention of stroke, and laser ablation of atrial fibrillation.
