Meet Dr. Vivas
Dr. Yoel Vivas is the founder of the Arrhythmia Center of South Florida and currently serves as the Director of the Electrophysiology Department at Delray Medical Center. He is actively involved in the Cardiology Fellowship at Florida Atlantic University. He’s been practicing cardiac electrophysiology in Palm Beach County since 2012.
Dr. Vivas was the first physician in the Tenet system nationwide and first in Palm Beach County to perform Pulsed Field Ablation using the FARAPULSE™ system, a cutting-edge technology to treat patients with Atrial Fibrillation. To learn more about Pulsed Field Ablation, click here.
Dr. Vivas is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (F.H.R.S.). He is one of the few arrhythmia specialists in the world to have been granted this important designation. This distinction recognizes members for their advanced training, certification, and commitment to the research and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.
Dr. Yoel Vivas offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment of abnormalities of the heart rhythm (Arrhythmia) including but not limited to ablation of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia.
He also specializes in the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and devices to treat heart failure (CRT). Dr. Yoel Vivas is the only electrophysiologist in South Florida who is also board-certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
His special clinical interests include new techniques for the ablation of the most advanced forms of atrial fibrillation (persistent and long-standing persistent), zero radiation technology, conduction system pacing, and pulsed-field ablation.
